Real Estate Finance Associate, Mid to Senior Level

A highly regarded national real estate practice is seeking a mid- to senior-level associate to join its New York team. This is an opportunity for an experienced transactional attorney to take on meaningful responsibility across sophisticated real estate matters while working alongside attorneys who are committed to associate development and long-term progression.

The successful candidate will have at least 3+ years of substantive real estate transactional experience, with the ability to independently manage key components of complex matters while collaborating effectively within deal teams.

Experience should include one or more of the following

• Lender-side or borrower-side mortgage financing
• Mezzanine financing transactions
• Real estate acquisitions and dispositions
• Real estate joint ventures

The role offers significant exposure to complex, high-value transactions and direct interaction with sophisticated clients. Associates are expected to demonstrate strong commercial judgment, excellent drafting and analytical skills, and the confidence to manage workstreams with increasing autonomy.

Candidates should bring strong academic credentials, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a practical understanding of the commercial considerations that drive real estate transactions. The environment is collaborative and team-oriented, with experienced attorneys actively invested in mentoring and professional development.

Candidates must hold a JD and have previous experience working in a law firm. Applicants must also be currently admitted to practice in New York or eligible to become admitted.

An hours-based bonus opportunity is available in addition to base compensation.
