We are representing a prestigious, global law firm that is seeking an associate with 3+ years of private equity transactional experience to join their Corporate M&A practice in New York. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled attorney with experience in acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures, private equity funds, and financial institutions. The associate will work on complex transactions, providing high-quality legal services and collaborating with a robust national corporate practice.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on private equity transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures, and portfolio management.
• Provide efficient legal service both independently and as part of a team.
• Collaborate with other team members in the execution of complex transactions.
• Provide the highest quality of client service and contribute to professional development in an on-track partnership position.

Qualifications

• JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Must be admitted or eligible for admission in New York.
• 3+ years of M&A and private equity transactional experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with extreme attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in team settings.
• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and balance competing responsibilities.
