A premier AmLaw 50 firm is seeking a seasoned M&A associate attorney (JD class years 2018–2020) to join its dynamic New York office. This is an exceptional opportunity to take a leading role in high-value corporate transactions, advising sophisticated clients across industries. The ideal candidate will have robust experience in M&A, excellent drafting skills, and the ability to manage complex deal flow and junior team members.
Key Qualifications
- 4–6 years of M&A experience in a top-tier law firm
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills for definitive and ancillary documents
- Proven ability to manage client communications and oversee deal timelines
- Experience mentoring junior associates and managing teams
- Outstanding academic credentials from a top law school
- New York Bar admission preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Lead M&A transactions for private and public clients
- Draft and negotiate core transaction documents
- Oversee diligence, deal structuring, and execution
- Supervise junior associates and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams
- Build and manage client relationships with a focus on strategic growth
