A leading international law firm is seeking a mid-level Litigation Associate with 3-5 years of experience to join its Birmingham office.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established litigation practice handling sophisticated commercial, regulatory and other contentious matters. The position offers meaningful client contact, collaboration with experienced litigators and a clear partnership-track opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle complex commercial and regulatory litigation
• Draft substantive motions, pleadings and other litigation documents
• Manage discovery in complex cases
• Conduct sophisticated legal research and analysis
• Assist with case strategy and litigation preparation
• Communicate directly with clients and opposing counsel
• Manage multiple matters and competing deadlines
• Work closely with partners, senior counsel and associates on significant disputes

Who You Are

• 3-5 years of transferable litigation experience
• Strong knowledge of litigation procedure and motion practice
• Experience managing discovery in complex cases
• Exceptional academic credentials
• Excellent legal research and writing skills
• Strong communication and client-facing abilities
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Commitment to client service and community involvement
• Active Alabama Bar admission
• Based in Birmingham or willing to relocate before commencement
• Available to work in the office at least three business days per week

Compensation

Salary Range: $250,000–$315,000

Compensation will depend on experience and qualifications.
