A leading international law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate from the 2021-2025 law school classes to join its Orange County office.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a sophisticated, broad-based litigation practice handling complex federal and state court disputes. The team works across a diverse range of areas, including class actions, employment, ERISA, privacy, antitrust, securities and environmental litigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle complex federal and state court litigation
• Draft substantive motions, briefs and other litigation documents
• Conduct sophisticated legal research and analysis
• Participate in all phases of discovery
• Assist with case strategy and client management
• Work on disputes across a broad range of litigation practices
• Support deposition preparation, hearings and trials
• Take increasing responsibility for significant matters

Who You Are

• Law school class of 2021-2025
• Strong interest in complex federal and state court litigation
• Previous litigation experience across one or more practice areas
• District or appellate court clerkship experience is preferred, but not required
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Discovery and case management experience
• Deposition, hearing or trial experience is advantageous
• Excellent analytical and communication skills

Compensation

Salary Range: $225,000–$365,000

Discretionary performance-based bonuses may also be available.
