IP Litigation Associate

Salary: $310K – $390K

A leading international law firm is seeking an experienced IP Litigation Associate to join its expanding New York Trademark & Copyright practice. The team advises major businesses and brands on sophisticated contentious and advisory matters spanning trademark, copyright, trade secrets, false advertising and internet law, offering the successful associate the opportunity to develop a broad IP disputes practice while working alongside a highly regarded specialist team.

Candidates should have four to six years of relevant experience, with a strong background in trademark, copyright and/or false advertising litigation. Experience with enforcement matters and strategic IP counseling is also highly desirable. The role would particularly suit an associate looking to build a practice centered on brand protection and soft-IP disputes rather than patent litigation, with exposure to both complex litigation and ongoing client counseling.

A J.D. and strong academic credentials are required, together with excellent written advocacy, analytical and communication skills and admission, or eligibility for admission, to practice in New York.
