Salary: $310K – $365K

A leading international law firm is seeking a Technology Transactions Associate to join its highly regarded practice, with flexibility to be based in any of its 17 US offices. The role offers the opportunity to advise sophisticated technology and life sciences companies across the full business lifecycle, from emerging and venture-backed businesses through to established market leaders. The successful attorney will work on complex licensing, collaboration, partnering and commercial arrangements, while also advising on the IP and technology aspects of M&A transactions, public offerings and venture capital financings.

Candidates should have four to five years of experience in intellectual property and technology transactions, with strong drafting and negotiation experience across licensing and commercial agreements. Experience supporting M&A and emerging company/venture capital matters is particularly valuable. The practice works across areas including artificial intelligence, fintech, autonomous vehicles, cybersecurity, AR/VR, renewable energy, biotechnology, digital health and other developing technologies, making this an attractive opportunity for an associate seeking exposure to innovative companies and sophisticated transactional work.

A J.D. and admission to the applicable state bar are required, together with strong academic credentials and excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills. Candidates should demonstrate a genuine interest in technology, intellectual property and the commercial application of emerging technologies.
