Technology Transactions Associate

Salary: $390K – $435K

A leading US law firm with a market-leading technology practice is seeking an experienced Technology Transactions Associate to join its established national team. The practice advises technology companies at every stage of growth on sophisticated intellectual property and commercial transactions, including licensing, services, development, distribution and strategic partnering arrangements. The successful attorney will also advise on the IP aspects of M&A transactions, public offerings, financings and other multidisciplinary corporate matters, providing significant exposure to innovative technology businesses and complex commercial transactions.

Candidates should have at least six years of experience with intellectual property and technology transactions and a genuine interest in developing a long-term practice focused on technology companies and commercial IP matters. Strong experience structuring, drafting and negotiating complex technology and commercial agreements is required, while experience supporting corporate transactions is highly desirable. The firm is particularly interested in entrepreneurial attorneys who enjoy working collaboratively within a national practice and contributing to the development and mentoring of more junior associates. Digital health experience is advantageous, while a technical or scientific background is beneficial but not required.

Superior academic credentials are required, together with excellent drafting, communication and interpersonal skills and a demonstrated commitment to building a sophisticated Technology Transactions practice.
