A premier global law firm is seeking a 1-6 year Litigation Associate to join its Chicago office. This is an excellent opportunity to join an elite litigation practice handling sophisticated, high-value disputes for leading clients across a broad range of industries.

The successful candidate will work alongside highly regarded litigators on complex matters while gaining significant responsibility, exposure to sophisticated work and excellent opportunities for long-term career development.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in sophisticated litigation matters
• Conduct complex legal research and analysis
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs and other substantive legal filings
• Assist with discovery, depositions and case strategy
• Prepare for hearings, court proceedings and trials
• Work closely with partners and senior attorneys on complex disputes
• Take increasing responsibility for matters as experience develops
• Collaborate with attorneys across a leading national litigation platform

Who You Are

• 1-6 years of litigation experience
• Strong litigation experience gained within a law firm environment
• Excellent legal research and writing skills
• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively on sophisticated and fast-paced matters
• Active Illinois Bar admission

Compensation

Salary Range: $225,000–$390,000 (DOE)
