Job Description

A prestigious law firm is seeking a Patent Litigation Associate to join its Intellectual Property & Technology Litigation practice group in the Minneapolis office. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented associate with 3-5 years of complex litigation experience in intellectual property and technology matters. The ideal candidate will possess strong academic credentials, excellent writing and research skills, and the ability to foster strong client and peer relationships in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge patent litigation cases, including managing discovery, preparing briefs, and supporting trial preparation. While admission before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is a plus, it is not required. Applicants must be admitted, or eligible to become admitted, to practice in Minnesota.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of patent litigation experience in intellectual property and technology cases.
• Strong academic credentials, with excellent writing, research, and communication skills.
• Ability to build strong client relationships and work effectively in a team setting.
• Admission to practice in Minnesota, or eligibility to gain admission.
• USPTO admission is a plus, but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $200,000 to $235,000, based on experience and qualifications.
